If you are studying to pass the NT 's Driver Knowledge Test to get your NT Learner's Licence, you will need the
NT Road User's Handbook (July 2014) which can be purchased from an MVR (Motor Vehicle Registry) office, or you can download it from the MVR web site (a lot of pages to print out!). OPTION 1: the MVR's on-line Practice Questions, given at random. To test your knowledge, try the practice questions on the
MVR web site.
and try the on-line Practice Test.
30 questions are picked at random from a list of 345 questions, you must get 26 or more correct to pass. When you have finished you can check your score and can see which ones you got wrong. This is a good way to check your knowledge, but the questions are given at random. OPTION 2: the same Practice Questions grouped into topics. If you attending a structured road rules theory class such as the DriveSafe NT program or the Multicultural Council's Passport To Drive program,
you may want to test yourself after studying each topic.
The practice questions listed below are the same as the MVR's but they are grouped into topics. E.g. if you are studying traffic lights, down-load all the questions for traffic lights ("Topic 08: Traffic Lights"). Use these answer sheets to write your answers on, then download the Answers for that topic from the list to check your result. |
